Best book。 47 stars！My son is sad that Tyson left， but I think we haven’t seen the end of him。 I’m excited to see where the next story will take the characters that we’ve met。 My son’s favorite action scenes were the dodgeball game and the party ponies battle， mine were the chariot races。 I loved the use of medieval chariots ams steampunk-like weaponry。 I also loved the monster donuts in the Florida swamps。 Lots of fun。 Can’t wait to read the next book。

Giving it 3 stars because its a great book in its own right， but in my opinion not as good as the first one。 It seems less high stakes for some reason， and I'm not as into the monster（s） they have to battle this time around。 It's a good book that bridges towards the rest of the series where it strongly picks up again， so I mostly see this as a place filler。 The lower rating is because it's a bit forgettable。 The relationships between characters aren't as strong and most of the book is a journey， Giving it 3 stars because its a great book in its own right， but in my opinion not as good as the first one。 It seems less high stakes for some reason， and I'm not as into the monster（s） they have to battle this time around。 It's a good book that bridges towards the rest of the series where it strongly picks up again， so I mostly see this as a place filler。 The lower rating is because it's a bit forgettable。 The relationships between characters aren't as strong and most of the book is a journey， but not really a quest。 Regardless I read it with pleasure every time knowing about the adventures yet to come。 。。。more
